Please note that we are unable to take children who are under the age of 10 on these Beginner courses. Children under 14 years old must have a parent present while they are at the club.

If you would just like to give archery a go rather than commit to a 3 week course, consider booking a group event with a group of friends. These small group events give you either a 1.5 hour or 2 hour experience allowing you to see if archery is for you.

If our group course is full and you would like to go on a waiting list for a Beginner course, please contact the Coaching Coordinator via coaching@aucklandarchery.org.nz.

Important note: if you apply for club membership more than 4 months after completing a beginner course and have not shot elsewhere in the interim, then you will be asked to attend a minimum 1 hour paid refresher/induction course or until the coach is satisfied you are safe to shoot. Your assessing coach can provide you with more information, including hourly rates.

The course cost is $260 per person, including GST, to be paid on booking. Your booking will only be confirmed once the payment has been received. Payment should be made to AAC bank account 12-3089-0332100-00 with the reference ‘coaching’, followed by the archer’s name

Refund Policy

If you are unable to attend the course you may request a later course or a full refund up to 14 days before the start date of the course. For example, a cancellation for a place on a course starting on the 30th must be requested by the 16th midnight. After this time, you may request a later course only.
