TRY ARCHERY
There are several ways in which to join the Auckland Archery Club, depending on whether you have previous archery experience either in New Zealand or overseas.
YOUTH

WHAT WE DO
Auckland Archery Club provides our archers the opportunity to learn and develop their shooting skills.
We host Have a Go days for the public, and for those wishing to start archery more seriously, hold Beginners Courses throughout the year.
Members participate in the club Achievement Programme to improve their skills and can take part in different distance shoots on Saturdays and Sundays.
For our competitive archers we host a number of tournaments throughout the year, as well as providing a space for them to train during the week. We have an 18-metre indoor range in addition to our 70-metre fourteen-lane outdoor range.
New members are always welcome, from beginners to experienced competitors.

SORRY FOLKS - All those who have been watching our calendar in anticipation of the Have A Go Day, scheduled for Sunday morning, we have had to postpone this. There are a couple of tournaments happening elsewhere and we couldn't get enough coaches as they are actually shooting. Watch this space for an evening, mid week date in December.
A belated shot from our Saturday afternoon last weekend - a new members induction course helping 20 or so new archers settle in with their gear and the club shoot very well attended alongside. 16 full targets in fact.
After a wet and wild start to the weekend Tāmaki Makaurau turned on the sunshine for the first day of spring and our archers arrived early to make the most of Sunday morning free practice session.

This mornings registered 720 tournament has been cancelled due to the weather. As we had officials and archers travelling from out of town we made the call early to help people stay home in the warm and dry.
